PANEL-KING DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS

1. SCOPE

1.1 Furnish a ___ x ___ size, non-progressive building for interior use as manufactured by Porta-King Building Systems, St. Louis, Missouri, conforming to the following specifications. Building is shipped completely knocked down.

1.2 Related work not included in this section; electrical service supply and connection, foundation work, offloading, and installation.

2. MATERIALS

2.1 WALL PANELS
Panels to be 3" thick, 8' high and 2' or 4' nominal widths, as specified, with expanded polystyrene board core (UL Class 1), and 1/8" vinyl-covered hardboard permanently laminated to both sides. Panels to have insulating factor of R-13.

2.1.1. Panels to be 1 3/4" thick with R-7 insulation.

2.1.2. Standard finishes: walnut, pecan, beige, white, gray, and blue.

2.2 STRUCTURAL FRAMEWORK
Utilizes anodized aluminum extrusions allow 6063T6. All posts are to be of two piece design and shall allow the wall panels to be connected to one another making the system totally Non-Progressive.

2.3 PANEL ACCEPTORS (wall starts)
Aluminum extrusions for attachment to perimeter of existing wall, permitting wall sections to create two and three wall structures.

2.4 BASE PLATE
Aluminum channel extrusion is shipped in cut lengths for ease of leveling, attachment to foundation and to provide a smooth surface for caulking and sealing. 

2.5 EXTRUSION CONNECTION
To be accomplished with #12 screws fastened 24" on center.

2.6 ACOUSTICAL CEILING
Acoustical grid-type ceiling system to include hanger tabs, tie wire, and 2' x 4' white lay-in acoustical board (UL Class 1).

2.7 CEILING CAP
To be provided in cut lengths for installation on top of wall sections as required to fit snugly around the top perimeter of wall sections, ceiling cap to include vertical fascia flange for neat, trim appearance as an integral part of the cap.

2.8 DOORS
Doors to be shipped pre-hung, with butt hinges and key-in-knob lockset shipped separately.

2.8.1 Standard door to be a 3068 x 1 3/4" full flush, vinyl-clad walnut, hollow-core wood door.

2.9 WINDOWS
Windows are to be factory assembled in an anodized aluminum frame. Glazed panels are to be shipped in 3 sections.

2.9.1 Windows are to be glazed with standard 3/16" tempered safety glass.

2.10 ELECTRICAL WIREWAYS
Wireways to be located at panel connections, where specified, for location of light switch, 115V duplex outlet, and/or 230V outlet. Boxes and conduit to be supplied for installation on site where switches and outlets are located. Wiring to be furnished and installed by others.

2.11 ROOF DECK
Roof deck to be 22 gauge (1 1/2" deep) for buildings 12' in width or less, or 18 gauge (1 1/2" deep) for wider buildings up to 16'; and to be roll-formed steel panels which interlock (not nestable) with one another to serve as a top cover for the building and support for a standard acoustical grid system.
