CeilingMAX surface mount grid system uses only 1" of ceiling height and accepts any 2x2 or 2x4 ceiling tile. It allows for direct applications over old plaster, drywall and paste-up ceilings. In the event of sub-surface failure such as water leaks, tiles can be replaced by simply unsnapping the grid around the damaged tile.
