Sometimes there’s just no way to get rid of ambient light, making it hard to obtain a high quality projected image. The problem can be exacerbated by a low output projector.
During InfoComm 2012, Draper, Inc., introduced Radiant CT2900E, a retroreflective viewing surface designed to deliver a bright image no matter what the lighting situation.
Multilayer technology produces brilliant images within a viewing cone of about 30°. Radiant CT2900E contains microscopic reflective spheres, sealed under a transparent washable coating, and offers superior resolution and color fidelity.
“Radiant CT2900E overcomes ambient light without absorbing light,” according to Draper Fabric Coordinator Brian Hocker. “Radiant CT2900E gives you the brightness you need without the resolution loss seen in traditional beaded materials. You also get less hot-spotting or color shift.”
Radiant CT2900 is especially ideal for long, narrow rooms, table mounted projectors, signage applications and training centers. The surface also brings a brilliant, immersive image in the home cinema setting. A high contrast version—Contrast Radiant CH2700E—is also available for deeper colors and higher ambient light conditions.
