Gillespie Corporation designs and manufactures standard and unconventional elevators, lifts and cranes—but our specialty is the creation of custom solutions to special projects obstacles that seemingly have no solution. Gillespie works with customers during every step of the process: specification development and preparation, planning, preliminary and final design, manufacturing and technical support during installation. We provide detailed approval drawings and installation instructions for each project. Gillespie offers a complete consulting service and will assist with code compliance issues. While anyone can design an elevator with a standard pit of 4 feet, we are the only ones who can design one with just an 8"–12" pit, using our patented Shallow Pit/Limited Overhead Safety System. We can also provide an elevator requiring as little as 8' 5" of overhead.
