SlipNOT® Metal Safety Flooring is proud to announce the American Institute of Architects (AIA) has approved SlipNOT® as a registered Continuing Education Systems (CES) provider. The SlipNOT® presentation provides one Health, Safety and Welfare (HSW) Learning Unit (LUs); which helps the almost 80,000 AIA members achieve the requirement of 18 LUs per year, 8 of which must be HSW.
The CES program provides architects, draftsman, planners and designers the opportunity to expand their knowledge and skills in ever changing industries.
Beth Faraci, New Business Associate for SlipNOT® developed the CES presentation which focuses on designing safety into facilities as solution to preventing slips and falls. The presentation features benefits and cons of epoxies, tape-on products, fiberglass, diamond/checkered plate and manufactured slip resistant metal flooring products.
Were extremely excited to be an AIA registered Continuing Education Systems provider. Now, not only are we able to supply facilities with our non-slip metal safety flooring but we can help to educate those who design the facilities on the dangers of slips and falls in the work place. said Faraci.
For over 20 years SlipNOT® has been dedicated to creating safer work environments for a variety of industries across North America. Constantly seeking for opportunities to inform design and safety professionals on preventing slip and fall accidents, SlipNOT® was eager to become an AIA registered CES provider.
